Hình thức ‘borne’—sinh con   dùng cho người mẹ.  She had  borne a child = bà ta sinh một đứa con.  She has borne him six sons = bà ấy có sáu mặt con trai với ông  ta. The eldest son was born in 1950. = đứa lớn nhất sinh năm 1950. Dùng IN trước năm hay tháng, hay nơi chốn, ON trước ngày, AT  trước giờ: In 1950, In Mexico, In September, In Hanoi, In San Jose, On Monday, On the fifth of April, At 3 o’clock in the afternoon, At noon.
